186.1.4: Enterprise Administration, Reset Chat, and Removing v1

This is a feature-filled and exciting release for enterprise users. In particular, this release includes our first version of our enterprise admin console, which allows enterprise admins to manage datasets in base account and distribute changes to these datasets to their downstream customers in an organized way. For more details, please visit our freshly published Enterprise Administration Guides. As this is our first version, we know there is room for improvement, so we are looking forward to your feedback.

We also include the ability to "reset" feedback chats and have removed all v1 functionality.

As usual, we also have a large number of bugfixes and performance improvements.

Features

  • Enterprise Admin Enhancements

    Manage user accounts, review and protect sensitive data, distribute datasets, and organize them in an intuitive manner.

  • Replace Admin Feedback Chats

    The previous "Delete Admin Feedback Chat" functionality has been superseded to offer improved capabilities.

  • V1 Functionality Removed

    All v1 features have been fully removed, streamlining the product and reducing legacy overhead.

  • Deeper Reliance on Dimensions and Metrics

    The system now heavily depends on dimension and metric names and descriptions, allowing it to function effectively with as little as 30% of the initial saved admin feedback.

  • Random Suggested Questions

    Users are shown a random subset of all saved feedback, offering broader insight and discovery.

  • Change Impact Analysis

    When editing dimensions or metrics, the system highlights potential downstream impacts—such as invalid joins or expression updates—before changes are confirmed. Post changes are confirmed, certain dimensions, metrics will be tagged "In Review" and users would want to reset certain admin feedback chats.

    Fixed issues related to "column not found" errors during SQL queries.

  • Improved Loading Times

    Enhanced performance when loading admin feedback and the user monitor page for smoother operations.
